My name is Alena.
I live a very ordinary life.
I live at the end of a downhill, uphill and winding road. My home is surrounded with pine trees and sunflowers and all sorts of grass. Birds are everywhere.
Outdoors, I enjoy the simple pleasures of walking and gardening. Walking allows me to admire the sunflowers growing among the tall pine trees and the medley of leaves of grass. Walking provides me great opportunities to take snapshots of anything interesting that I see in my path. Walking gives me a chance to smile at strangers who often times smile back. Gardening makes me feel a participant in God's creation. An ordinary day becomes special whenever I see a new bud among my plants. I like to grow dancing lady orchids and hydrangeas. I love the smell of my rosemary and mints.
Indoors, I like to read books and watch movies. They can amuse, inform, thrill, touch and inspire me.
I believe in God Almighty and in His great love for mankind. I believe in Jesus Christ, our Savior. I believe in miracles and in the power of prayers.
